Tyler is a sophomore in college. He made a DVD about Ability Awareness titled "I'm Tyler" that has now been viewed in all 50 states and 20 countries. He served on the Iowa Special Education Advisory Panel where he reviewed and made suggestions for a revised Iowa Guide for Para-educators. He currently serves on the Community Providers Advisory Council, which gives advice to services provided by the Child Developmental Center. He also serves on the Together We Play Advisory Board. This group promotes inclusion among all non-school activities and organizations. He serves on the Kids As Self-Advocates (KASA) National Task Force. Tyler has traveled all over the U.S. giving presentations about Ability Awareness. Tyler enjoys working with a local youth Christian drama group and has done some other theatre work.
